Cate Christiansen is a filmmaker based in Manhattan. In 2023, she founded FUN PARTY LLC, an independent narrative film production company. Cate graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts from the Martin Scorsese Department of Cinema Studies and the Department French Literature, Thought, and Culture, with minors in Film Producing and Dance. She has led productions across the US and internationally. She recently completed her directorial debut short film SPIDER, which will premiere in spring 2025. Her second short film is currently in post-production, and her third is in development. She aims to use film to make a difference. Outside of film, Cate is currently completing a 450-hour 9-month Pilates Teacher Certification, she does a lot of yoga, or you’ll find her at a different movement class of some sort.
