bio

i make work through film and dance. i graduated magna cum laude from new york university in may 2024 with a bachelor of arts in cinema studies and french (double major), with minors in dance and film producing. while at nyu, i produced dozens of student film projects across new york, hawaii, and the uk. my directorial debut short film SPIDER premiered in competition at the reykjavik international film festival, where i was also selected to participate in the 2025 talent lab for young filmmakers.

i started working with celluloid when i moved to paris for the summer when i was 16 to study 35mm photography and french immersion. the first short film i produced shot on 16mm. working with film has become an integral part of my process with image-making & filmmaking due to the material limitations necessitating meticulous planning and directorial decision-making. it’s like a big math equation (i love math).

i’ve always danced. dance is my one true love. i hope to dance forever. in 2025, i started working with gillian walsh via two workshops at pageant. this work will culminate in the performance ‘god entered my body as a body the same size’ at pageant in october 2026.

in september 2026, i completed production on my next short film. it’s about dancers. (see BTS)
